I decided to build a portal framed shed without a drawing potentially a recipe for disaster. But I was fortunate in my choice of supplier O’Connor Roofing Supplies of Dundalk and in my choice of steel fabricator Jimmy Crotty of Dungarvan. They both worked extensively behind the scenes to supply me with the materials to complete an insulated 10m x 20m shed which to my amazement, came together perfectly. It has proved itself dry, windproof and in the recent storms, waterproof. I’m especially indebted to Antoin Watters of O’Connors who advised me with great patience and accuracy what materials I would require and what methods of construction were recommended by the manufacturers (Kingspan). His quotation, which he patiently revised as my ideas developed, was accurate and the quantities supplied left minimal waste. His price was the best I found. From a position of no knowledge and no experience I got a well built shed instead of the possible disaster I might have had if I’d been dealing with an indifferent supplier. That is almost entirely due to the support and interest of Antoin at O’Connors. I am very grateful for the level of support and customer service offered to me by O’Connors Roofing Supplies. I would recommend them highly.
