Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for four counties from 10 am on Thursday the 6th of July from 10 am until 8pm for Cork, Kerry, Galway, and Mayo and a weather advisory for the remainder of the country. They have warned of heavy rain combined with strong gusts with possible localised flooding. They stated ‘Rain accompanied by fresh to strong winds will lead to poor travelling conditions. Rainfall totals will be higher in mountainous regions.”
