What are the Benefits of Tile Effect Sheeting over Conventional Tiles?
- They are suitable for low and extremely low-pitch roofs. Low-pitched roofs have a tendency to leak if covered in regular slates and tiles, due to the fact that wind can easily drive rain underneath the coverings. Using a sheet, which looks like a tile stop this as the whole structure is a sealed unit.
- They are very light in weight, making them suitable for weaker roof structures. This also allows for flexibility in the construction and design of the roof.
- Installation time is greatly reduced due to the ease of installation compared to regular tiles or slates.
